Our Staff
Casas Adobes Pet Clinic promotes preventative healthcare
for your companions. Our doctors and staff provide progressive veterinary care, believing that continuing education is essential
to minimize and prevent disease as your pet ages. Through regular examinations, vaccines, exercise and a well balanced diet,
our professional staff will work together with you, the pet owner, to meet those challenging medical and nutritional needs.
Richard Morehouse:
Dr Richard Morehouse graduated from Kansas State University with a BS degree in 1964 and a DVM degree in 1966. He has been practicing companion animal medicine and surgery in Tucson since 1969. In 1977 Dr. Morehouse started Casas Adobes Pet Clinic,
where he has practiced for the past twenty-nine years. He has a special interest in dermatology and internal medicine. Dr.
Morehouse strongly believes in continuing education having seen the tremendous advances and changes over the past 40 years.
He has been a member of the Arizona Academy of Continuing
Education since its founding in 1972. He is currently a member of the AVMA, AAHA, and Arizona State Veterinary Medical Association,
The Southern Arizona Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
In his leisure time, he enjoys horse back riding,
hiking and skiing.
Dr Blumenfeld:
In 1971 I relocated to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona. After obtaining my Bachelor of Science degree, I decided to enter the Masters Program and received my degree in Animal Physiology. Ultimately, I was accepted to the college of Veterinary
Medicine at Oregon State University and received my degree in 1983.
I have been practicing at Casas Adobes Pet Clinic
for my entire career which spans 23 years. I have a special interest in Orthopedic Surgery and have attended in depth courses
at Ohio State University and Iowa State University.
I have been a member of the Arizona Academy for Continuing
Education since my graduation to ensure progressive practice techniques. I’m also a member of the American Veterinary
Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association.
My interests outside the clinic include long distance
running, golf and I am a saltwater fish enthusiast. |
